I am a strong advocate of using video as resumes. Journalists have always used videos to promote themselves and abilities. I see it expanding even further. I think as an employer I really want to SEE the person’s personality because sometimes it’s hard to read a person in 140 characters or less.

Your post offers very good information and is something that should be taught in high school and on the college level.

Excellent examples of the benefits of social media, but more than that, of how to be where the job markets your targeting are. Social media can be a great tool to help you find a job if used strategically, but only with those employers who use it as well.
